I just purchased a 1.6 H S1 H&A("A Cut Above")in a Vatche Royal Crown from Whiteflash.com. Not only were they honest and knowledgable about diamonds, but the ring is beautiful. The diamond sparkles in no light, and it was set with the highest detail in mind. It was more than I could have expected. Pictures are soon to come. We are having trouble taking pictures of it b/c it is so bright (and the camera is having trouble focusing). Whiteflash scores one in my book. Oh yeah, She said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ring is a size 5.

Here's some tidbits about the proposal. I was completely surprized! We were driving around looking at big houses in the neighborhood, and all of a sudden he parked the car and said, "let's get out." Up a little ways was a covered gazebo right next to a fountain and a little pond. I told him that I didn't want to go up there because I didn't want to be trespassing. I could also see that there was something set up in the gazebo, and didn't want to be intruding on someone else's party.

So, he led me into the gazebo, and it was actually set up for us, with the dinner we had on our first date, to start our new life the way we started our relationship. It was the sweetest, most thoughtful thing.
