Now, I absolutely hate waiting and being in limbo. This morning I realised that not only am I a Lady in Waiting, but I am also a different kind of LIW, a Lawyer in Waiting.
I have completed all requirements to be admitted to the Supreme Court in my state. I am just waiting to get my results back from the final two assignments I handed in. The cutoff date to apply for the last admission round this year is tomorrow and I know I won''t hear back before then. That means that I am going to be a Lawyer in Waiting until early February! I also still need to find a job!
Then of course there is being a Lady in Waiting. I hope that I will stop being this kind of LIW by December, as it is starting to get really hard again when everyone around me is getting engaged or married!
