I spoke to GemEx and found out that there are no Brilliancsopes in Chicago. This surprised me considering the number of diamonds that are in Chicago.

I was wondering if there are any other tests available that give similar information about a diamond?

Also, how widely used is the Brilliancescope? How long has it been around? I thought at least one jeweler or appraiser in Chicago would have one if it was a very valuable tool?

Thanks

The brilliance scope has been around now for atleast a few years.

Its a relatively new technology, and is is currently being used in certain segments of the diamond industry.

There is also one new technology, that is also being
experimented with called, (???) Basically its a box that grades a diamonds symmetry and light output using a scale of 1-10.

I hope someone on pricescope can recall its name, and website?

Thanks Tim!

I was looking all over for it,
