pave vs micropave

I know the basic difference (size) between pave and micropave. But can anyone give me a bit more of a detailed explanation? Or maybe you have a pave setting and a micropave setting that you can show me next to each other?

I''m pretty sure the setting my bf and I picked out is a micropave setting. But I''m also pretty sure he''s having it made as a pave setting. Just wondering what the difference look will be.
