Little princess reset finally done

I went back and forth about what to do with my lovely little princess. I KNEW I wanted it out of the pendant and in a ring just didn''t know what kind of setting. I had several ideas that were either too expensive or just not right for such a small diamond. I stumbled upon this setting at my local jeweler and he did a lovely job of setting it for me. I just got it back today and couldn''t be happier!

Wow...that is a firey thing. I bet it looks good with all of the facets in the smooth setting...it has a little modern feel...love it. It looks good on your hand.

Thanks all! and Jstar I think the setting makes it look larger, that''s why I chose that one. I originally wanted to do a bezel or half bezel until the jewelers wife explained how much of the stone would be covered up setting it like that. With only 32 points to work with I didn''t want to lose too much of it

Good point...I think the way the prongs go out beyond the corners is why it looks larger. It''s a bezel-like effect without covering the stone with too much metal. Great choice!
