GOT THE RING! Next step...

OK, I have my diamond, and finally have my ring... time to put the two together.

While the ring is at the jewelers, my next step is to find a box. Danforth Diamond did send me a box, but it''s not really a "presentation" style box like you would most likely propose with. Where can I find a nice looking, yet INEXPENSIVE box to propose with?

I wish I would have known you needed a box. I sent my five diamonds to Whiteflash in the solid cherry ring boxes that Blue Nile sent my stones in (in those phoney ring holder thingies) and I told WF to throw them out

This one is nice because it looks small enough that it would sit in your pocket comfortable.

Those lighted ones are ok... I didn''t really like it all that much and went with one that looked cuter.

I like the "Elegant Cherry Wood Box" on this site mentioned above: http://www.momsjewelrybox.com/RingBoxes/Single-Ring-Boxes.htm but with a soft velvet interior, not leather, and for the box to have that kind of snap open and close kind of feel when you present it and close it.

That, or the quilted velvet box, but in the same shape as the Elegant cherry wood box and without the stitchwork on the top.

But for your pocket, I think the leatherette box might be the best bet.
