Your ring is absolutely, positively, stunningly perfect. Seriously, I think the size of the stone is PERFECT and the setting? I swear, this is the only setting I''ve ever seen that has made me want to re-set my stone immediately. I''m trying NOT to email Leon right now asking all about it. Hi NEWENGLANDLADY !!!

I just logged on and saw your post with all the others.... and now I want to cry !!!!!

Everything is perfect....

The trip, the proposal, the man on bended knee, the ring, meeting Leon... *sigh*

The day could not have been more perfect...

We toured ALL of NY and it was magical...

The ride thorugh Central Park on the horse and buggy was one of my favorite moments with him... admist all the chaos of the NY streets, we finally were able to just breathe and enjoy the moment together...

I still feel like I am in a dream and I wake every morning reaching from him....

Well, him and my LEON....

It is all sooo surreal....

I keep reading all your responses over and over...

I feel honoured to be spending my life with such a wonderful man. He is so much more than I ever could of dreamed of and I loved him the moment our eyes met.

I had planned on proposing to him on the 23rd of December.. you see, we celebrate the 23rd of every month because that is the day we met. In the summer, we were sitting on our back deck drinking wine, talking about where we would be in six months.. I knew then I wanted to be his Wife.

We talked often about our Big Day, the 23rd of Dec, and both of us wanted it to be special and a reflection of our love and the time we had shared together.

I decided this day would be PERFECT to ask him to be my husband... I bought a Proposal dress, I bought a ring, I was READY !!!!!!!

I carried the ring with me everywhere we went, just in case the moment was all I had envisioned it would be... I didn''t want to risk not grasping it.

I purchased his ring on the 15th of October, and the wait seemed unbearable.

He proposed on the 29th of October, both of in our comfies, candles light, music playing softly in the background, wine in hand...

After he asked me to marry him and I of course agreed, I was able to then get on bended knee myself and slip his engagment ring on his finger.

In fact, BOTH HE AND I PURCHASED our engagment rings on the SAME DAY, October 15 and were planning on proposing on the SAME DAY, Dec 23....

Fortunately, he could not wait.....
