Glad to hear Little Dude is getting out! I have it on good authority that the arrival of some more octo-siblings is imminent...

awesome. I keep meaning to email you about a parent but my dang clients want to wait another 2 months to buy the pieces. so either I put a little down payment on him or I wait. Unless he already found a good home

Glad to hear Little Dude is getting out! I have it on good authority that the arrival of some more octo-siblings is imminent...

awesome. I keep meaning to email you about a parent but my dang clients want to wait another 2 months to buy the pieces. so either I put a little down payment on him or I wait. Unless he already found a good home

ckrickett, although I'm new to the forum, my understanding is that it is strictly forbidden to discuss/solicit business here. I will let you know that the proud parent is still happily living with me and occasionally getting out to see the sights. If you want to reserve a ticket for him to come to your neck (of the woods), do send me an email to discuss travel arrangements!

Also, I really like always being on two related forums because I get attached to them. One experience of having a one-and-only longterm board shut down was enough. I practically went through withdrawals (ha ha?), then learned my lesson. However, I really miss that Bsomlo on this thread. I wish she'd come back.

Thanks! I was a little embarrassed to post it as it's pretty modest compared to the beautiful necklaces you ladies have shared here. My goodness, there are some amazing strands of pearls It's nice to be able to admire them from afar.

Here's a nicer pic of the pendant. The pearl and custom pendant was made by Heart of Water on Etsy, and included a donation to an elephant sanctuary. It's only a Chinese freshwater cultured pearl but I find it to have even color and is quite pretty. I don't really look at pearl jewelry that much because I'm a bit lazy and am quite hard on my jewelry!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I am little hesitant to dip my toe further into the pearl world, especially since my budget is already maxed out with diamonds and colored stones. But pearls are so special and the lustre can't be replicated.

I think it's a similar style. It's an Italian gold chain that I got from Sally when I ordered the custom pendant. She has the chain listed here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/39696137/florence-18k-gold-chain-16-inch-length (I think it's just a stock piece for her, she doesn't make it in her workshop)

I like Sally a lot. She is based in northern Thailand but has lived in many countries - and it shows in her designs, which are all so meaningful. I especially like her designs inspired by Thai culture and the pieces that have ancient Mediterranean influence (Greek, Etruscan, Egyptian).

I ordered some really inexpensive cheap earrings from a seller from Etsy, she says both sets are natural colors, and they look like they could be to me. But one set was $20 nd one was $30 so even if they aren't they are still fun little earrings.
