I have a new love of pearl studs and I'm on a quest for the perfect size. Here is some golden SS 11mm.
I'm waiting for some white metallic 9-10mm to arrive. I'll post pictures of them on my ears too.

Renwea, Your WSS are fabulous!! I love, love, love, my 10.2 metallic white studs. They glow within. They are a great every day size. You will love yours too!

Your earring inspired me to go to PP and buy some studs for myself!

I just got 8-8.5 MM metallic whites because my bottom holes are big and I can only wear lever backs, so I went for a more petite size for the second hole. (I hope I get them by wedding day!)

renwea - I think that's a perfect size too! I wear my 10-11 mm Tahitian studs at least a few times a week.

Bailey1856 - I would love 12 mm studs! I have 14-15 mm Edisons that rarely get worn but I think I'll play with them a little this weekend with a few of my strands. I have to wear the discs to keep them from drooping too much (wish they had something similar for other parts of my body lol!).

Pkinnew, lol, physiotherapists do have those big fabric tapes for rounded shoulders and etc. but they can get really itchy,lol!

You must take a picture of those 14-15mm Edisons. I don't believe i've seen them. How big are the discs you have to wear them with?
I wear 12mm discs with my 12.6 GSSPs. I think though that 11-12mm is plenty big for a lot of women unless you have big earlobes like me then you have to upgrade a bit for them to really stand out.

ckrickett, isn't it very handy to make Your own pearl strands? When ever peals get loose, You can fix them by Yourself. Great job! I especially like Your lavenders. Your new white ripples are pearls I adore .

White wrinkly ripples, 10-11mm. IRL they have silver and golden metallic lustre. Some pearls have iridescent too. In photos I have three 17" neclace combined together and twisted.

They are heavy, but not TOO heavy; I can wear them the whole day without issues.

My first pearl, a birthday present when I was 13 years old. I asked for a white pearl ring and suggested my mother take me to the Galleria in Houston. The Oriental Pearl Gallery was a very nice jewelry store, which had tank of oysters that you should choose from. They guaranteed a pearl to be in the oyster,for maybe 20 dollars. This was the result. Light grey-blue, pink-lavender pearl about 8.5 mm, I chose a ring mounting and they set it while we waited. They mentioned this was an unusual color. A white pearl or two small pearls for earrings was the expected result from the oysters.

Frost me, your earrings look perfect, I can't wait. I have a pair of 7-8mm metallics that I bought to go in some ruby jackets I have, but I think they look small alone. I'll post their pics. I also am wearing a soufflé from PP on a pink sapphire chain. Oops, I uploaded the wrong picture of my SS pendant. I'll leave it cause it's a beautiful pendant.
