So I have been late to understand ripples but have made up for lost time. I have bought heaps of ripples recently and think they are the most fabulous things....photos are not great but are of ripple strands from Catherine Cardellini - a slightly figgy one, the long one is two other strands joined together, and one is more horned/thorny one. Still trying for decent photos....The two figs and thorns are very big - max around 17mm.
Catherine is wonderful. I have so many of her pieces and am always thrilled.

More CC pearls. I have a large ripple necklace here twisted with some of her keshis. One shown twisted and one shown somewhat layered with another pastel CC metallic necklace (and upside down - I have no idea what I'm doing).

I bought these from Catherine a while ago before I got into the more adventurous ripples. Colours are amazing, but I can't capture it properly....Top one is rounded discus with bluish purples and golden lilacs as a kind of tin cup with whites, there's a smoothish white ripple (12.5mm max I think), 84 inch pink and lilac rope with golden lilac ripples, and a smooth jumbo ripple rope made of two combined strands.

Finally some attempts to get the colours to show without me getting in the way...
Why oh why are they uploading upside down. Not that it makes a difference for these ones but it does make the picture harder to read...

Last ones for tonight - back to the original ripples I am wearing at the start plus a shorter and smaller ripple and rod one (the small one is still 12.5mm for centre pearl). Many thanks to Cathy.

I love your ripples! They look like the dark ones that I have been craving for. Thanks so much for sharing!

WOW! That is some collection. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you - I have more :).
Also love Tahitians and SS. I got some of the strands from the tahitian PP sale last year and remodelled them into a fabulous super rope. Also SS and Tahitian combos from Catherine. I really like the tin cup effect with mixed colours and Catherine has done this beautifully.

I always admire your Tahitian cherries, they are spectacular. I also bought a PP mixed colour off round necklace last year that has a true cherry in it and it's my favourite pearl.

Thought I was done but husband is playing Xbox and now I have more time. Thought I'd show the vendor pictures of the CC pearls so you get the idea. I spent hours staring at pictures here and the other place trying to 'read' ripples, so it may help others out there...The two below are the shorter ones I am wearing at the start of the thread.

Amazing rope that I am wearing with a shorter one in the first post. I bought this on impulse because I realised I should be wearing these colours (am kind of pale redhead) and fell in LOVE. Then I realised the folly of my previous dislike for serious ripples and bronze effects.....
Note that Cathy doesn't use a light box. I generally see these colours in indirect light.

I'll add some more tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Stunning collection of pearls. With your coloring you were made to wear these.

Go for it and thanks for sharing. :wavey:

Very pretty! Thanks for sharing. My personal favorite is the first picture when you wear those two together.

Yes please, more pictures of the rope (bronzey rpples). I've been interested in fw ripples recently and looked at CC website but i find that her website is not too easy to navigate and can't find any info on how to contact her directly.

These are the smooth ripples that I bought in 2013 or so (photos from around then) that I remodelled into a rope that I showed above. I was completely obsessed with the Easter eggs and then decided I want to see them (why I love ropes).

PP strands now....
The first is a combination of a peacock with reddish overtones, a blue/green and a softer peacock that I bought in the sale last year. The colours are magnificent. The iPad photo is not.
The second is the off round one I bought more recently from PP. I love this too. But my pearl shrinkage syndrome has me reaching for the larger ripples more at the moment. There is a strong red one at the front but I think my photos just look brown.

My two most glamorous strands- I've shown them here before, they are from Imogene, a shop in Melbourne.
I wear both as single strands but have doubled here because too hard to take a photo of myself from that distance.
The south sea mix goes up to 16 mm I think, and around 48 inches (can't remember precisely). The tahitian is 10-12mm and 38 inches. Both would be considered AAA by what I can tell of pearls I have received from elsewhere, except the 16 inch SS whites have some tiny signs of circles (not the whole way around).

Thanks Bailey. Re contacting Catherine, her site has a contact link that takes you straight to her email address. If you click on the Facebook link at the bottom of the front page then it also takes you to contact details I think. She's very good to deal with.
