Very, very pretty.

Gotta say I particularly like that Japanese Kasumi Keshi rope from Kojima Pearls. :cheeky:

Icy Jade. One of your pins is the ring Jeremy Shepherd had custom made for Hisano. He gave it to her at the Eiffel Tower. The pearl had a very interesting side trip but fate was on Jeremy's side to get it back.

Oh yes, now I recognise the pearl. Gorgeous ya?

Haha, yeah indeed.

Just found little h's:

Maybe a brief explanation for those new to Pinterest?

Basically once you've signed on for a new Pinterest account (via email or FB), you can basically start off doing 2 things:
1. Follow other boards/pinners
2. Create your own boards

Or both 1 & 2.
Some people never get around to doing #2 and that's fine too.

By doing #1 (and you already get a head start with all the pearl vendors I've listed), you get a feed of all new pins from all the pinners/boards that you are following on your "home" page.

You can also find new boards/pinners by doing a search - that's how I found many of those that I am currently following, or just trace the source of the latest pin that caught your eye...

If you want to create your own boards i.e. #2, which I did cos I like to have all my fav pins handy, you can create multitudes of boards catering to all your different interests. Just remember to link your board to the right category and add a description so that people can find you/your board/pins.

That's all!

FYI - it's a great way to create a mood board for home renovation/decorating. That's sorta how I got started on Pinterest cos most of my fav design sites were already on Pinterest. And the humor boards turn up some pretty funny stuff too. :D

Just have fun and enjoy pinning. :wavey:

Warm welcome for those new to Pinterest. :wavey:

And thanks for those who added my board to those that you are following. Hope you enjoy the lovelies as much as I do.

Forgot to mention earlier that I have a board for diamonds and gems too (think most PS-ers have such 'weaknesses' too right?), and FYI that you also see some really gorgeous diamonds and gems on Pinterest.

Nice pinterest collection, icy_jade!

I try my hardest to avoid pinterest because I just lose track of time there . I do wander if you have any pinterest leads for matching pearls to green clothes. I like all shades of green but find that only white pearls in my collections really "go" with green. All of the peachy/pink/lavender/mauve ones just look off. So I've been looking around but can't really find any good images to give me ideas. Any suggestions?

Baby monster - Since red and green are complimentary colors, I generally find that they look good together. I wear lots of tops in the red family, and my green Tahitians look amazing. I would think that the reverse would be true as well. Pink, cherry and aubergine pearls should look good with green tops. Attached is my pink kasumi keshi pearls with a light green top. The cherry Tahitians belong to NacreLover and I bet would look amazing with green.

Are there particular shades of green that you prefer?

I like brighter shades of green like in the attached picture but also more muted greens, not as light though as your top Fly Girl. I tried all of my strands with that sweater but only the white pearls seem to "go" with it.

Hah! That shade of green reminds me of my Chrysoprase necklace, and yes, I ended up pairing it with white pearls. That is a very strong green color for the delicate pinks of freshwater pearls.

I don't have any Pinterest leads but based on the pic you posted I would go for white or darker Tahitians for that green. So colours to either side on the wheel or a neutral color like white. If dark green top, then lighter Tahitians.
