Pictures of pearl farms and unprocessed pearls

Found this interesting so I thought to share. Some pics of the Tasaki farm and unprocessed akoya pearls. I can't be the only one that love those interesting blues right?

Did give me more faith to get some of the akoya pearls I've seen online that are labelled as "natural" but with deep/intense colours that I have never seen before.

Oh my, creamy yellowish and blue akoyas are so much prettier than whites. Thanks for sharing!

icy jade Fascinating article on Jewelmer with lots of great photos! Thanks for sharing. That should inspire you to save so maybe you can buy some of those Jewelmer precious goldens and we can all swoon over them

Wow, look at those deep golden pearls, they are just stunning. Are those south sea pearls?

Deep golden ones. Jewelmer have really nice deep goldens. Quite a different look from the paler yellow/golds from Indonesia. Recommended if you usually can't take pale yellows. Think deep goldens are great.
