Hello everyone!

You are such a friendly bunch and after months of lurking, I think it might be time to join you here on the list. How exciting!

We''ve had a diamond for a while, so I suppose I knew a proposal was going to happen one day, but no ring for far too long IMO

. Realistically it''s not that long as it''s a few months really, but once a gal has a stone, you want things to move on, right?

Anyhow, about two years ago I saw my dream ring at a jeweller''s, a gorgeous semi-bezel round. We had the business card and lost it (I know, sloppy on my part), so I got another one and put it in his wallet for when he is ready. I got so obsessed with looking at the diamond (and Pricescope) in the meantime, that we agreed to put it away and I stopped looking at it every day. The day before yesterday, I opened the little chest where the diamond and other trinkets were stored to look for a watch that needs servicing, and the stone was gone! At first I freaked that it went missing but then he said he needed to go to work at an unscheduled time (he works freelance) and there were other clues that he might have gone to the area where the jeweller''s is. Sadly, he isn''t too good at keeping things hidden from me, but as long as the proposal is a surprise, then it''s ok!

So ladies please send some dust my way, and I will keep you posted on the progress. I hope he doesn''t keep me waiting for months once the ring is done.
