For my 865th post: What is your favorite color?

I am also a huge fan of pink. As far as wearing it - I think I actively try to not do that since people already know I love it (only use pink straws, have a pink phone case, pink seat covers in my car etc). As a result, I end up wearing a lot of bright colors that arent pink.

complete opposite of you gals unfortunately! I hate pink, love blue! favorite shade is Tiffany blue/aqua...but anything turquoise is my favorite. teal is okay but a little too dark for me. everyone always sounds surprised when my nail polish matches my earrings which match my shirt which match my scarf which match my bag (okay not all at the same time) and I just laugh and say that it's pretty easy because I have a million things in my favorite color hehe.

Totally depends. I love me some green, it's my favorite color in the generic sense. Pink too. I guess it depends what for.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE gray/yellow together. My bedroom is in gray/yellow. I'm also thinking gray/yellow for our wedding colors (likely summer).

For decor I tend to go for either earth tones OR gray scale including grayish blue.

Mauve is my favorite nail color. So classic and looks great throughout the year.

Pink peonies are my favorite flower.

Silver is my favorite color on cars.

I love a very light/subtle gray blue as paint for interior walls. White for trim/moldings.

For granite I prefer light tones of gray/white, no browns for me.

So...I pretty much love all colors, just in different capacities

Seriously, blue blue and more blue, I love it to wear, to paint on walls, on cars, as pen ink, and soon on my finger

Blue! And like Maebelle, thats why I have a sapphire engagement ring! But i also love black and various shades of pink and green

Much like Maebelle and Rebecca... my favorite color is blue (hence the username)! Can't wait to wear my sapphire every day

Green is a close second, though. I wear mostly blue, green and black. My house is decorated in varying shades of blues, greens and browns. Definitely a little obsessed.

Green, purple and turquoise - more "Tiffany Blue"/aqua based turquoise. In terms of purple, I'm more of a violet (not plum) purple.

Blue closely followed by pink.

I love this! I am all over the place, I love to wear royal blue colors! I want my kitchen to be black and red! And I think for my wedding colors I want all different shades of purple with silver accents. I do think royal blue would have to be one of my favorites though. This will make a sapphire my next big jewelry purchase!!

Wait. I'm writing all this as I'm typing from my Pink Macbook Air, while studying with a pink planner and pink notebook all at my desk. And yes, at this cafe, I chose a pink straw to drink my tea with. HEHE. I'll be 5 forever.

To me pink is only nice in diamonds I love blood red, it is my all time favorite color and gray/orange is my favorite combo...then again the just right shade of teal is hard to resist

I love red accents in my house (red lamp shade, red bookcases).

I love red tulips, but not red roses.

I love yellow - shirts, note pads, vases, etc - things! Just a bright happy yellow. Not too pale and not too dark. Not mustard.

I love to wear white tshirts more than any other color.

I love white cars.

I like doses of Hermes orange, even better if it is really Hermes! My Ipad cover is orange lizard-looking.

I love when my SO wears light blue or orange.

Buuuuuuut.....if I could only pick one color.....it would be GREEN! Because it reminds me of my grandma, it was her favorite, I think I look good in it (that soft pretty green), and I'd love to have a gorgeous emerald one day!

Okay, me likes some luxury brand bags, but an Hermes has always been one of those "ridiculous" bags. *BUT* then I saw one in orange! And now I want a damned orange Birkin bag one day in my life. Orange is one of those colors for me. It pops, it gets attention, yet it isn't overplayed like red is. And currently the GOG advertisement on PS is orange and flashing at me

I love the "grown-up" favourite colour convo!!

Granted, my favourite hasn't changed much since I was little... if you hadn't guessed by my avatar and signature, my favourite is lavender/violet purple. I love variations on purple, from fuscia to a more steely lavender.

I tend to wear a lot of black and grey with purple accents, but I do have some scarves (my all-time favourite accessory) in turquoise, indigo blue and bright pink.

Nail polish, I tend to prefer soft pinks or variations of grey.

I have a small collection of purple/lavender spinels, but will probably go with a sapphire e-ring- possibly a colour shifter if I can find out, to keep some purple close at hand

Variations of yellow-ochre, and salmon-pink. I also like a maroon or orange tinted red.

My most favourite is GOLD. The metal, or the 'colour' - though I guess that falls under ochre.


On the subject of colours, I've been given a gift voucher to have my 'colours done'. So I will soon find out what season of colours best suits me to wear. I'm not sure I'll follow it.. but I'm interested to find out none the less!

My favorite color has been purple for a long time. But, recently, I've really fallen for corals. They really suit my skin tone and hair color. So, I have a lot of new shirts and jackets in a coral tone.

In cars, I like black, dark grey or silver. There is one car though that I love in an off white color.

In purses, I like browns, tans, or beige.

In nail polish, I like corals or pinks.

In houses/decor, I love fall colors like deep red or orange and rich browns. But, I do love yellow kitchens!

Its a consultation, you are advised what colours best suit your skin/hair/eyes. The colours are split into the four seasons, and they give you a little wallet of swatches you can take shopping and whatnot. You are also recommended a colour of gold, and makeup I think. Bridget Jones' mother (you know, the book, the movie) tries to make her do it! Ha ha!

It seems kind of insane to me (something you could figure out alone!), but a group of my friends are really into it. And I must say, they do all look great in their colours!

PS. I think if I was talking about hair, I might say 'I'm getting a colour'. Confusing!

OOh. Is this an English thing to do? I've never heard of anything like this. But then again, everyone I know changes hair and skin color all the time so I doubt the "colors" would last for long anyway!

My favorite colors in general are any type of blue and then pink and purple.
My favorite colors to wear are black, charcoal grey and light blue. I also look good in white as I am a winter season but tend to wear this color as accents mainly. Very hard to keep white clean and bright unless we are talking about diamonds that is...

But I love and appreciate most colors. They all have something to offer and look beautiful under the right conditions!

That could be really fun to be told what colors suit me!
