So i'm buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend and am stuck between these three options. Price wise they are a bit of a reach, middle ground, and lower for my budget. She has size 4.5 fingers. I like the .61ct, but my only gripe is the very good cut vrs the ideal. How noticeable are these differences? 2300 is a bit out of range for me, but is doable. The only other thing I know is that she like fire. Any help? http://www.puregrowndiamonds.com/0-66-ct-round-vvs2-h/

An ideal cut diamond will appear larger than similar but bigger diamonds in lower cut grades due to the greater fire and brilliance. Cut grade should be the first characteristic you consider when buying a diamond, it has the biggest influence on the appearance of similar diamonds. If you're still in the market there are some great D and E color lab diamonds in the takara line at betterthandiamond.com
