Hi, I'm looking at this lab grown colorless round diamond,
0.51 CT J VS2 graded by IGI and priced at $1750/CT, attached here is the report
Now I understand IGI grading might be 'optimistic', especially as far as color in this case, but let's assume it's accurate for simplicity (otherwise it would be really hard to tell anything at all).
Any opinions on whether this would be a good deal?
Any suggestions for an independent appraiser in NYC who could take a look at the stone?
