Where can I get an illusion setting or a setting that makes the center stone look bigger?

You'll probably have to scour vintage jewelry stores and websites. I saw a few examples when I was researching my grandmother's ring. From my limited knowledge this style of ring was popular in the 40's. Here's my grandmother's, is this what you were looking for? It's two tone, the three "stone" sections are all white gold.
