Is that onyx and an oval diamond? Judy Garland had like 4 onyx engagement rings. This one was pink pearls and onyx. It was given to her by Liza's Dad and she threw it out of the back of a taxi when she was mad at him.

Here she had a large black pearl in a diamond halo. It almost identical to the onyx and diamond ring her last husband gave her.

Continuing on my 1930's starlet search. Bridgette Helms and her ring has always been a favorite. She was a German actress that worked untill she fled Germany in the mid- 1930's due to marring a Jewish man. She gave up actings and became a mother. By all accounts she hated actings and her mother pushed her into it. When she was old she became quite the spitfire and refused to speak with press, locking her doors when someone would come for an interview. She was the only German actress to be featured in the memorial segment of the Oscar's.

Her ring was a black pearl flanked by diamonds. In one photo she is wearing two rings, her wedding band and another large pearl with more diamonds.

I have always thought she looks like a Roman statue. It is fitting that is is most well known for playing a robot in "The Metropolis." (1927) Here she is being painted!

Elvis! He proposed to Priscilla with a proposed with a three-and-a-half-carat diamond ring, with 20 surrounding, detachable diamonds, from Memphis jeweler Harry Levitch.

At some point her gave her this wedding band and was seen wearing the same. He was known to have rings stolen from his hands when he gave handshakes so I am not sure how long this one lasted. He has an ongoing supply.


At some point they started to wear matching horse shoe rings.

They divorced and Elvis dated every beauty queen in the tri-state area. His last girlfriend Ginger Alden claims (no one can back this up) that Elvis proposed with this ring. He was known to give people he cared about very expensive gifts so no one is sure if what she is saying is accurate (as in it could have been a run of the mill gift from Elvis.)

Lisa Marie Presley has been married four times, this was her ring from Nicolas Cage.

Michael Jackson gave her at least two wedding rings.


And then last but not least, the ring given to Riley Keough (from Lisa's first marriage). It is a diamond that she wears with a turquoise band.
