Is a platinum chain/setting worth it for a pendant?

It's going to be a lot more money than WG, but if you really love platinum then why not?? Are you allergic to WG??

That and being able to wear it now and within budget (well, or very close to it)!!

If you like platinum for its unique qualities (eventual patina, weight, specific grayish cast) and can afford the extra money, I''d do it.
