iridium rings

Wtih an Iridium Ring, would there be a signature marking or stamp on the inside of the ring? (for example 14 karart gold = 14k)

If in fact it were a pure Iridium ring, It would simply be stamped Ir. I''ve been making jewelry for 36 yrs and have never seen a pure Ir. ring
