I got a flyer in my mailbox for an auction of jewelry seized by the IRS/police. The flyer is advertising various jewelry pieces and watches, and also says there will be certified diamonds. Most of the jewelry the flyer shows is gaudy, but if the price is right, the pieces might be worth it for the value of the stones/metals.

Has anyone gone to this type of auction? Are there good buys to be made?
