Write about something completely different. Often when coming up with different topics, scenarios, stories, it''ll trigger odd unrelated thoughts. Also just seeing that you''ve written SOMETHING helps to unblock you.
I usually "take a nap" and tell myself I don''t have to think about work -- then my mind naturally wanders toward that darn work. The trick is to get your UNconscious mind to do the work for you. Showers are also good. As are long walks. Driving someplace mindless. Good luck!
