Visiting a friend in California a number of years ago, I asked him: "Why do you have a picture of Don Adams, that guy from "Get Smart," on your wall?

He said that was not Don Adams, it was his father. I was embarrassed.

Apparently, Don Adams just passed, this past weekend.

We enjoyed him. Here''s a note in the Washington Post.

I read that he died. Sad... his daughter Cecily died recently, too - her husband''s blog/journal from diagnosis until after she died was touching. You really felt like these celebs were part of your life.
