worst kinds of candy?

When you say "worst" do you mean the worst tasting? The worst for you?
I actually loved circus peanuts and still do
I was never a fan of necco wafers, but my DH said that when he was a young adult, they could throw Neccos into the coin basket of a certain toll booth and because they were the same size as quarters, they would open the toll gate

I like Necco wafers. Worst are peeps, circus peanuts, anything licorice.

I like circus peanuts! Necco wafers, not so much...
My least favorite is Jolly Ranchers; a whole lotta work for not much of a flavor pay-out. And, anything with either a clove or wintergreen flavor.
I have lots of candy holy grails, but... jelly beans made with real pectin are right at the top of the list.

These are my least favorite candies.
I can't say they are the worst because clearly many people love them.
That dang people vary thing again.
Butterfinger, Love the taste and mouth-feel at first but it then sticks in your teeth like superglue, Milk Duds too though their flavor sucks and they are like eating wax.
Marzipan ... that sickeningly-sweet almond-flavored paste.
Chocolate with hazelnut ... I understand hazelnut is tremendously more popular in Europe than the US. They can have it.
White chocolate
Fudge
Cheap chalky chocolate, often found in holiday chocolate like Easter bunnies.
Hot Tamales
Sour anything
Turkish Delight.
Violet ... it tastes like you'd imagine perfume would taste .
Toblerone ... after the chocolate melts you are left with yucky nougat residue to spit out.
Chunky, for the same reason.
These are my least favorite candies.

My favorite is probably See's Nuts & Chews dark chocolates and Kit Kat.
They offered mint Kit Kats for a while ... I gained 215487548 pounds.
I LOVE licorice but mostly the extremely potent licorice recipes from Europe.
American licorice is too wimpy and sweet.
Alas, I've pretty much given up all candy in my old age.
That's probably why I'm such a sourpuss on PS.

When my kids would trick or treat, there would always be some weirdly cheap person that would wrap 3 pieces of candy corn in a piece of tin foil that's too small.
If you're going to be that cheap just pass, because it gets trashed anyway.
This happened year after year no matter where they trick or treated.

Jolly Ranchers and Sour Patch Kids. Fakey flavors and they shred my mouth up.

Kenny, I thought I was the only person in the world who won't eat Toblerone!! My former bestie went to Switzerland and brought me back an oversized toblerone bar, I had to fake it hard when I thanked her.

I can't STAND Bottle Caps. Those were WORST to get on Halloween as a kid!
Also any kind of black/anise licorice.
I'm also not a fan of Skittles or Runts because they taste so fake. But for some goodness knows why reason, I love banana laffy taffy.

I can't get near licorice either - I really dislike it.

Worst: Peeps ugh I LOATHE those! I'm also not a fan of licorice anything and the nasty chocolates (cheap ones found in grocery stores). There are others, but I actually like most candies.
Absolute Favorite: Cadbury Mini Eggs, Cadbury Milk Chocolate, and Crunchies (which aren't available here in the US) they are Honeycomb with (guess what? ) Cadbury Chocolate 
I love that stuff! I tell my co-workers my payment for helping them is cadbury chocolate either the Dairy Milk Bars or the mini eggs. The Mini eggs are available around Easter, but they also have similar items around Christmas time. I'm too cheap to buy them full price, so I patiently wait until after the holiday and buy as much as I can justify afterwards.
I like jolly ranchers, and Jelly Belly Jelly Beans (but only when coerced), love the sour candies.
I also love seeing how different people like different candies.
My first job was in a candy store where we made chocolates (so much fun), and I was able to try a lot of different candies. Was a great job and way better candy than the crap candy stores they have in the mall now...we roasted nuts, made chocolate, wrapped gifts, was so much fun!!!
