Get yourself a BIG coffee can. Cut a hole in the lid and start paying the can your Cigs money. If you woulda bought a pack that day or a carton that week, plug the money in the can.

Open yourself a special savings account at the bank with your Coffee Can money. Every now and then, empty your Coffee Can, take it to the bank and stash that Can money in your special account.

For all of you girls and boys who have not put a dollar figure to it, and haven't found the motivation, here's a little inspiration. 29 days times $5.60 a pack equals $162.40 in my pocket. Holy Cr@p that's not an insignificant amount of money.

Funny how great minds think alike Shay!!!

I am so glad to have been able to help you, as it hasn't been too long for me, the stages of quitting are still fresh in my mind, so I can feel how it is for you. It is amazing the difference PS support makes, when I quit 6 months ago, everyone on the WWT was rooting for me and Rod had quit a year before me and was a huge support!

I think you have cracked it now by the sound of it, the cravings are less which is great and your body is getting back into balance. You have done the hardest part now!!

I am glad you don't need to rely on the gum too much, I began to rely on the gum after 3 or 4 weeks, so I swapped to regular gum instead of nicotine and I chew all the time now, but it is better than smokes!

You will really notice your skin improving too! Keep it up with the splurges as you so deserve them! This is a very difficult thing you have accomplished and you should treat yourself!!!!!!!!! I still do all the time...

Or...as FN and I thought too, you could save your dosh in a pot, $162 - odd over 12 months = $1,948.80...You could get a nice ES or ACA as a wee treatie....

I have been thinking the same thing! She has been an example, right before our eyes, of showing that it can be done. Lorelei, having trodden the same path before her, has shared her experience, strength, and hope with her (and the rest of us). It sounds like the foundation for a program .

Just have a sec. Pink Lily is a new fragrance by Oscar. Ipex bras are the greatest thing I have ever found ever. They are from Victoria''s Secret. They are underwire support (34D) without the wires. No poking, no scratching just sleek and smooth. You can wear them under any type of shirt. I LOVE them. I learned about them here a while back, and I though I would try them. I am so glad I did.

I smoked on and off for 10 years, finally quit about 2.5 years ago. I was at a pack a day at that point. It wass one of the toughest, but most fantastic things I've ever done. How's it going???
