Yes. When I sign my signature I use my full first and last, and middle initial.

Yes, my checks have both my middle inital and my husband's...my 24 year old son also have his middle inital on his checks...it was a necessity for my husband, him and his Dad have the same name, but different middle names.

I write four checks a month for things that don't take debit and I can't pay electronically. I don't even write my full name. My signature consists of my first initial, last initial and a scribble that makes up two of the other five letters in my last name. That's it.

My signature is an illegible flourish so I'm not sure how to answer.

What I'd like to know, DF, is how much time you spend thinking of these random questions. :cheeky:

Seriously. This is something you have actually wondered about?

I used to but I dropped it a few years ago, my signature is long enough as it is with 14 letters. However, I'm kind of looking forward to getting married and changing my name because I may make my new signature less precise so it doesn't take so long to sign things.

I use my middle initial whenever I sign anything. I also usually sign emails with my initials rather than my name. I am very attached to my initials :cheeky:

Yes I always sign my name with my middle initial and sometimes my whole middle name.
I have a very common first and last name and don't want there to be any confusion.
My middle name is a family name so it does set me apart when I use it.

I write checks for my mortgage and the utilities.

I will lament the passing of the humble cheque. :((

I don't understand why they have become known as outdated.

Nope. I can't remember the last time I signed my middle initial, even though some of my credit/debit cards have the middle initial on them.

Yup.

And I use my full name (middle included) on resumes, cover letters, etc.

Yes. Sometimes I even write out my full name, but I stopped that habit because people often assume that means I have two first names.
I love my middle name.

My friends laugh because I recorded my full name in my voice mail, so when you call me you hear that machine voice say "You have reached the voice mail of [insert my voice saying my full name,] please leave a message after the tone." But, it asked for my full name, so I said it!

Yes. My middle initial is also printed on my checks and credit/debit cards.

Yep, I'm pretty sure I use it every time I sign my name to anything, even if it's not something official, just habit.
