hehe we just got back from Rivers of Chocolate, this charity event at a local mountain winery...basically something like 90 restaurants and wineries are there showcasing their foods and chocolates and desserts...along with fine wines and ports, cigars, cheeses etc. it was our first year going, and it was amazing...and i am STUFFED with good food and lots of CHOCOLATE and PORT. my fave things were the ahi tuna tartare on a sesame chip; some vinaigrette asian noodles, and then a buttery chocolate bread pudding was the best dessert tasted amongst about 30-40 chocolatiers and restaurants there. the view is beautiful from the winery and there was live music. and we tasted some great wines and port!

so while this cookie thing would typically be appealing, not today!! i'm resting myself on the couch now. hehee.

PLEASE no more torture!! I am dieting so I can lose the gross flab I built up this winter and you are TEASING me.  I have been so good...cannot tempt me no siree...

FINE.  You''ve done it now.  I HAVE to go downstairs and get some ice cream.

It''s not chocolate, but it will have to do in a pinch.

I''m allergic to nuts...so the evil pic was just torture!

I''m with Blueroses on the chocochips, which I keep in the freezer just for snacking!  Sucks when I go to bake cookies because there are never any in there!
