Ok - I''ll commit my wish list to public scrutiny considering I''ve just shared it with my jeweller. No order set yet:

-    white gold diamond pave hoops
-    diamond stud earrings 1 ct total weight
-    diamond pendant to match studs 0.5 ct
-    diamond set band

Of course, I''ll add to this as I see new things!

Hi guys,
I don''t have any diamond goals this year I think, but here are some goals I would like to get in the immediate future-

- get a Juicy Couture velour tracksuit with the pink terrier in Betsy ( purplish color)

- get the Roberto Coin tiny heart pendant (hey that''s a diamond)

- get a pair of chandelier earrings in white gold, no diamonds

That''s it.

I have to also mention that I am pregnant!!!!
I found out on December 26th, so it was like a Christmas present for the two of us.  I wanted to get pregnant in December, so I got what I wished for.

So, no diamonds for me this year, instead we have to save up for when  I go on maternity leave and stuff for the new baby!!!

Oh, I am still hoping to get diamond stud earrings.  If I did not get the Ritani set, the bangle bracelet and the earrings, the RC pendants, and the Gucci watch, I could have gotten the earrings.

But, I don''t think it will happen this year.Image  That''s okay though, I have something even better to look forward to!

Congratulations Kayla! The Juicy outfits seem like they would be fun to wear all through pregnancy, they make maternity ones as well. I have four of them (non-maternity of course) and I have to fight the urge to wear them all winter long because they are much more cozy than jeans!! Image

Congrats Kayla!  Is this #3?

I just got back from my local "Rugged Warehouse" .  LOVE THAT STORE>

Name brands for less.

Well, they have 2 racks of the Juicy Couture sweats.  Some velour and some terry.  And some skirts
Everything is priced from $19.99 to $24.99

What does these items normally cost?  (should I pick some up and sell them on ebay? Image)

OMG- those jackets for the $79.00 on Nordstrom.com
hmmm- the only thing with their clothes- they cut the tags down the middle.  But who cares- it''s all the same.

sevensone, ABSOLUTELY  pick some of those Juicy outfits up for those prices! They never go on sale. I have two velour track suits and made the mistake of not getting the black one while it was in front of me and now nobody has it. The jacket and pants are $88.00 and $79.00 (I don''t remember which was which).  I was only buying one because I had a gift certificate and didn''t think that I NEEDED another one. Then I thought about it and was desperate to get it...but to no avail. They were all sold out. I was looking on the internet and found one (pants and jacket) at a site in Hawaii.

Anyways, enough of my silly story. I say BUY THEM and KEEP THEM!!! Image

I like this thread but I''m going to have to think about what I could possibly want for 2005. I know, don''t shoot me....I DON''T NEED ANYTHING! Image

Oh, and your diamond studs too!! Image

Sevens, definitely pick up a few of those suits...as others noted, each piece is $79 at Nordstroms and Bloomies. If they are decorated (aka have a design or saying on them), sometimes they are more. You can get the color chart online at one of their websites to figure out which color it is if the tags don't say. There's a store in NJ & NYC that sells them for discounted, Century 21; also we just got a Loehmann's here as well which has them  discounted as well. But not $14.99!! Image

I have bought a few pieces on eBay previously, as long as they are the real thing, no one cares if the tags are split, just make sure to disclose that. With Juicy items, each year their sizing is different, so make sure to disclose the size AND the measurement of the item so that people can know what they are buying. Some years I wear one size and the next year another--it's very odd how they jump all over the place each year. Also their lengths on the pants seem to vary as well.

I've gotten a few pieces also at Nordstrom's on sale...aka a pair of the pale pink velour pants for $49.99...yeehaw! I try to only buy them on sale or get them as gifts, like I got a new black velour set for my birthday this year from my mom. Image

Hey I noticed that alot of the pants have no draw string.  Have they been removed or is that the look?
Jus the two holes.

I can''t buy the sweat suits for me-  I couldn''t pull those off.  H*ll NO!  Not this rump. Image

Hmm that is odd Sevens..no drawstring? Maybe that is why they are so cheap, the ones I have seen at discount stores intact are usually about $39-49 each piece.

Will someone please post a picture of these sweat suits you are talking about?

I think one of the preschoolers at my school wears them.  Do they say "Juicy" on them?

Post by Mara » January 9th, 2005, 7:36 am
here's an image of the hoodie and drawstring pants...they come in about 20 different colors.

some of them do say juicy on them, but some of them (the original style ones) don't say anything.

they also do a line of various other items such as beach coverups, skirts, jeans, cargo pants, and shirts that say things like 'i love juicy' and other random items.

the company was started by two CA gals who wanted there to be shirts that fit like mens, but made for women with a close fit, aka like tank or tee shirts. so they started selling some shirts and the celebrities started buying them and hence their brand was born. the juicy track suits followed i think a year or two later and those were a HUGE hit with the celebrities so therefore everyone else wanted them (like ugg boots) and would wear them with things like heels and to go out.

i have loved the track suits since they came out since they are so comfy, the trend has headed away from them (because while you are wearing $150-175 set of sweats, it's still sweats!), but my girlfriend and i still adore them because they are SOOO comfy and work well in conjunction with rainy winter days and movie theatres. Image the hoodie is cute on it's own with jeans also.

www.shopbop.com carries a huge line of juicy items. i am so not a fan of the ones that say 'juicy' on the butt...what kind of advertising is that?! Image

5.5c Cartier Asscher from early 1900''s.

I LOVE this ring.  I''m not big on HUGE stones, lol, so I''d be totally stoked to get a 1.5 carat in that setting with a nice 1 carat pendant to match!  lol

Asschers are really starting to intrigue me. . .I''m thinking Asscher RHR in the near future. . .Image

hahaha  this is like VS''s pink line.  lol  One of my husband''s friends came over yesterday and there I was walking around with, "PINK," scrawled on my rear end.  lol  It was pretty embarassing!!!

Post by Patty » January 9th, 2005, 9:30 am
Mara, the suits are cute, but they look like something my daughter would wear, not me.  I wear big ole comfy sweats, not fitted ones.  Even if the fitted ones are comfy, they still look like they will show every bulge and roll, lol.

As for a saying on the butt...trust me, I would never wear ANY pants with writing on the butt.  Who wants to draw attention to that?!  Except for cute young girls...but even when I was 16, I still would not have done it.  When I was 5'' 9" and 120 pounds, I still thought my butt was too big.  Image

Miy "PINK" pants are actually are PJ's!  I'd never go out in public wearing anything written across my rear!  lol

yes I know what you mean, Patty, they do show imperfections in the body!!! i always know when i need to lay off the burgers thanks to my juicy sweats...hahha. however, if you get a size larger than you normally would, it actually can act as camoflauge...hehe. i tend to wear them mostly around the house and on weekends in the winter. they also have cute beach wear like terry mini skirts which i bought for our hawaii trip, and those babydoll terry coverups that you see on jessica simpson. that makes me look pregnant though. Image

however, showing bulges doesn't seem to stop some of the more voluptuous young girls from wearing a set about 2 sizes too small Image

i figure since i am still getting asked 'you're over 21, right?' at bars that i can get away with wearing them for about 5 more years. Image
