We see fewer and fewer people wearing traditional wedding rings given the fact that many of the engagement rings are more substantial... But if you need an excuse to buy more jewelry, there are many other options for you to consider, it shouldn't be too difficult to find something fun to tempt yourself with

I have an opposite habit --I love wedding rings and have collected 7 of them, all different sizes of stones and metals. I interchange them frequently.
![]() I love the look of a single band on the finger or a couple stacked up. I have an eRing, but we were on a tight budget when we got married 7 yrs ago and it is on the modest side--about 1 CT RB, SI1, H, not ideally cut. I also had that stone reset with the original 8 pt side diamonds (about 1.5 ct tw) and wedding band diamonds into one ring so it goes with many of my new bands. it is more low profile and like a band itself.(see below--not a great pic) In March, when i get my latest wedding ring (a 6.2 ct princess eternity band, VS1, F), I will create a wedding band post and get to finally show them off!
