More Republican family values.
This 3:06 minute video of Trump talking is VERY NSFW!

Folks, this may be our next president! :knockout:
But of course you can't criticize PS members who will vote for this piece of shit.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-recorded-having-extremely-lewd-conversation-about-women-in-2005/2016/10/07/3b9ce776-8cb4-11e6-bf8a-3d26847eeed4_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_trumptape-404pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory

If this offends you, don't make this man President of the United States.
Don't vote for him.
If you have one gram of a conscience show this to all Trump voters you know.

Donald Trump bragged to a Bush family member in vulgar terms about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women during a 2005 conversation caught on a hot microphone, saying that “when you’re a star, they let you do it,” according to a video obtained by The Washington Post.

The video captures Trump talking with Billy Bush, then of “Access Hollywood,” on a bus with the show’s name written across the side.
They were arriving on the set of “Days of Our Lives” to tape a segment about Trump’s cameo on the soap opera.

The tape includes audio of Bush and Trump talking inside the bus, as well as audio and video once they emerge from it to begin shooting the segment.

In that audio, Trump discusses a failed attempt to seduce a woman, whose full name is not given in the video.

“I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump is heard saying.
It was unclear when the events he was describing took place.
The tape was recorded several months after he married his third wife, Melania.

“Whoa,” another voice said.

“I did try and fvck her.
She was married,
And I moved on her very heavily.
In fact, I took her out furniture shopping.
She wanted to get some furniture.
I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’”

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,
“Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything.
She’s totally changed her look.”

At that point in the audio, Trump and Bush appear to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who is waiting to escort them into the soap-opera set.

“Your girl’s hot as sh!t, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,+
“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them.
It’s like a magnet.
Just kiss.
I don’t even wait.”

“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,”
“You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.

“Grab them by the pUssy”
“You can do anything.”,
Trump says.

I'm shocked, shocked. I've never heard any man talk some boorish nonsense about sex and prowess and t*ts and p*ssy before. Never. Excuse me while I ROTFL. Yes, people have said all along that Donald Trump is "common." I still don't think that disqualifies him from being elected President, though. I reflect on the many Presidents of the USA and I can't help thinking that not a few of the early ones, in particular, were definitely a little rough around the edges.

He's such a gross disgusting pig.

I lost what little respect I had for him long, long, long ago.

Now I pity those that are foolish enough to still go and vote for this a**h**e. They are obviously brainwashed, and that's just sad.

I never heard a President Of The United States of America speak this way, and I hope I never do. Because any mature, normal male over the age of 18 should not be talking this way.

The operative word is mature.

Yes this is hilarious. A potential president making disgusting and borderline assault driven comments. He talks about how he can do whatever he wants to women because of who he is. You think that is ok?

And this is a duplicate thread - AGBF made one before this thread as made.

Ahhh but he is a rich white male TV personality and she is an educated woman. That automatically gives him a free pass to be anything he likes while she on the other hand is somehow too ambitious and dishonest to run the country. And YES for those who seem to misunderstand my posts that was sarcasm.....

And if you engage in a war with China because Trump doesn't have a clue about International relations, you have much much higher statistics for race riots, gun deaths and verbal and physical attacks upon women, and when your economy is in even more trouble than it is now if he is POTUS I will be the first one to clap and applaud your decision, you will have gotten exactly what you deserve..... Again, yes, that was sarcasm.

His comments today weren't just "poor language". What he directly implied is that it is ok to sexually assault women if you're famous.

He was 60 years old at the time. He is a father of 5, 2 daughters. What kind of grown, professional 60 year old man would say things like this? An awful, awful person, who is unfit to make any decisions for anyone, much less for the country of America. There is no defending him anymore. There is no "but Hillary is WORSE" anymore. Anyone who thinks that way needs to seriously re-evaluate, because you are part of the problem.

I won't "defend" Trump in any of this - he said it, he needs to own it.

What I will say is it's naive to think lots of men and women don't have or haven't made lewd thoughts/comments about opposite and same sex attractions - I've even read them on this forum by some of the PS darlings. Most just don't all go around attached to a hot mic and run for office.

Also, is it not hypocritical to wag your finger at him for saying things when the dem's darling's hubby was actually doing them - stuffing a cigar in the office intern AS president (not to mention all of the rape and assault allegations) - and she (HRC) AND dems DEFENDED him, and saying "what goes on in their marriage is their business" and such? I guess that was not as offensive because you didn't see video of it.

I don't condone his words or behavior in the least, but the last person who should be casting judgment is his opponent or her supporters.

Wow. You'd almost think you're working in his campaign. Where have I heard those words before? Oh yah...https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...ology-as-sex-boast-tape-horrifies-republicans

The canned, insincere 'apology' the RNC made him read (badly) from a teleprompter.

As a woman and a non-American I have to admit that it's shocking to watch what's going on where half your country seems willing to turn a blind eye to someone who should be seen as an international embarrassment. I can't even imagine if other world leaders were to behave in this way.

ETA: its also shocking to see sexism and misogyny dismissed as 'distractions from the real issues.' Given that this affects 50% of your population, wouldn't this be seen as a real issue? Or is this just so ingrained in the culture that it seems normal? (And so abnormal to those of us from elsewhere).

I'm sorry, perhaps I have no right to comment given that I'm not American. But it's hard not to watch when the US is so hugely influential in the world.

We could - and likely will - go on all day about the relative levels of bad between Trump and Bill Clinton. But at the end of that day, this is politics, of the hard-scrabble variety. American politics have always been this way, in spite many fits of vapors by many who just recently discovered this because they weren't interested in school, and continued to drop the history ball in their subsequent lives. "We hate politics!!" they cry, as if things were more polite and genteel "back in the day". Nope. They just didn't happen in real time, that's all.

The first and foremost rule of American politics is, when your opponent hands you a club to beat him with, you beat him with it. In this case, it's even better - you simply sit back and let your opponent beat himself with it.

To say this is "just male behavior" is sexist. It reduces men to their lowest common denominator. This is archaic thinking that allowed men to cheat and beat women for far too long. We have evolved. We expect much more from our men.

We don't allow our men to grab us by the private parts. We don't allow them to commit adultery. We don't allow them to commit sexual assault against us. We don't allow any of the behaviors that fall under the "oh, he's just a man" umbrella.

Please keep that in mind when you want to try and excuse this behavior. You insult men when you commit to this thinking. Men are much more than their private parts. Yes, there are some brutes out there and those men don't deserve the luxury of having a relationship with a good woman and they certainly don't deserve to be POTUS!

+1 on this.

Yes, my DH hates that type of thinking. He's been railing against the depiction of men on TV (dumb beer guzzlers) for years.

DH is especially disgusted and angry that Trump was going after married women.

The other day I had the TV on in the background and that lady Wendy Williams said something like because "all you men are pigs" or something like that - and I felt so offended on behalf of all the men there. She caught herself and tried to fix it by saying "not all of you" but it was too late.

This is the point of JCJ's comment. She is not defending anything but stating reality. Trump is a disgusting pig of a man and this may sink him.

Sure we would love all our men/women to be the darlings that we wish they would be. I hope everyone here has a man/woman that meets our high standards for propriety. Fact is that is not the case so don't get the vapors when you hear it. Just sucks that it has to be a nominee for president that is a lewd pig caught on a mic.

Yep. I'm so tired of trying to reason with people who rationalize Trump as being ok or normal or "just one of the guys" in any way. I cannot wait for him to lose this election so we can all move on. I do believe he will lose in a massive way, which will at least be emotionally satisfying for all of the misogynistic, racist crap we've all been forced to hear from him.

I also believe Trump will lose.
BUT.
He's opened Pandora's Box.
IMO he has fed and empowered a filthy cancer in America.

Cancer grows and this is not our last election.

Turns out Trump was doing them too. So there goes your "argument".

First was Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife, who said under oath in a 1989 deposition that he had violently attacked her, ripped out her hair and forcibly penetrated her without her consent. According to the Daily Beast, she claims he was wildly angry that she’d referred him to a cosmetic surgeon who had botched a “scalp reduction” job (to cover a bald spot) and caused pain in his scalp - hence the vindictive yanking on her hair. At the time Ms. Trump said she felt “violated” by the alleged “rape.”

A business acquaintance accused Mr. Trump of sexual harassment and “attempted rape”.

A second woman accused Donald Trump of sexual assault, in 1997. According to The Guardian, then thirty-four year old Jill Harth alleged in a federal lawsuit that Trump violated her “physical and mental integrity” when he touched her intimately without consent after her husband went into business with him, leaving her “emotionally devastated [and] distraught.” The lawsuit called the multiple acts “attempted rape.” Shortly thereafter she voluntarily withdrew the case when a parallel suit against Mr. Trump brought by her husband was settled. When The Guardian reached the woman in 2016 to ask whether she stood by her sexual assault allegations, she responded, “yes.”

Demeaning women, Mexicans, disabled folks, on and on isn't hateful? Who are you kidding? Obviously you are a regular who is hiding behind an AE. You didn't just decide based on this thread. I always base my presidential vote to a tiny thread in a tiny message board of a minuscule section of the internet. Bahahahaha.
