I bought an 14K white gold engagement ring yesterday and haven''t decided if I want it rhodium plated. I really like the looks of the plating, but I''m worried that when it starts wearing off it''ll look worse than non-plated. I don''t want my gf to have to return every year to get it replated.
Any experience good or bad with plating? I have a couple days to decide before he actually puts the stone in. Any suggestions?
