Tipping hotel housekeeper

We were just talking about that. We like using our small RV - our own bed and kitchen and bathroom on wheels and no bedbugs!

Seriously though, most of the hotel maids I encounter are hard-working minority women, and I know those extra dollars are much appreciated by them. It's all a matter of what makes you feel good, and tipping is a voluntary act, so I'd never criticize people for their opinions on tipping.

I forgot to mention that our room was definitely cleaned by the same person each day because on the nightstand we had a card that said something like "your room is being looked after by NAME". Plus, I saw her on the floor every day.
