reset my three stone ring

Hello,
I recently received a three stone ring with a radiant center and two side trillions. The stones are gorgeous but the setting is a bit too high for me...it sticks out more than I like. Can I have the diamonds reset? I will be in NYC soon and am wondering if their is a jeweler who resets diamonds. Also, how long will this take? How much approximately will it cost /the range?

This does not sound feasible on the spot... Most likely the same setting could be adjusted, but this is for the jeweler to tell. However, the job description sounds easy enough and perfectly feasible by any jeweler who sets stones routinely. Who made the ring? It may be a good idea to have the same person do it, as far as I know.

This is very doable but I think a new setting needs to be cast...I have seen the "high" three stone settings you describe and the "low" kind...a good jeweler will tell you, as val said...go to a reputable jeweler you trust and invest the time in getting it right! And post pics when it is done!
