Planted my first upgrade seed with my husband today...

Here''s how it went down..

This year instead of buying gifts for eachother we are buying a Flat Screen TV. We sent a limit, but now he’s studying all the big BIG ones and jonesing for one of them. So I found HIS JEWELRY! (You know his obsession that equals my jewelry obsession). So I blatantly bribed him. I said, if we get this super TV then I want a 2ct diamond for our 10 year anniversary. He laughed nervously and got REAL quiet.
IT all hangs in the balance now.. then again, we haven’t had our 1st anniversary yet, so I guess I should get comfortable…

It will take 10 years, but that''s okay..... some day i will have my big diamond..

I went through diamond mania with my husband...so I''ll ease off this year. Next March is 5th anniv and I am SO upgrading. That will probably be the last time...The operative word being probably.

i know i'll still be jonesing for a larger diamond at year 5/10/20/30/50.

And let's not forget 7.5, 12.5, 15, 25, 35, 40, 45, 55, 60... (by then hopefully you'll be so old you won't remember that diamonds still come even larger... and Greg will finally get some long-awaited rest!)
