What a sad loss!

Loved him in Lawrence of Arabia and Masada -- plus so many others.

Oh, I didn't see anything about that. Too bad -- but he had a great time all his life; can't do better than that. Long life with lots of action & contribution. An era passing, isn't it?

He certainly lived his life to the full.

So dashing when he was in his prime, and his voice could turn my knees into jelly.

Of his films, How To Steal A Million with Audrey Hepburn will always be one of my favourite romantic films.

He will always be one of my favourite actors, along with other iconic greats such as Gregory Peck, James Stewart and Cary Grant.

R.I.P., you'll be missed.

I saw a wonderful interview of him with Robert Osborne. He was so witty {not to mention gorgeous} He will ALWAYS be Henry II to me.

Mr. St. Clare's eyes are the same piercing blue as Mr. O'Toole's.

Also, RiP Joan Fontaine.
