Patent Leather in or out?

Considering that I am wearing patent leather Cole Haan pumps and a matching bag to my competition tonight..I am voting in still. At least for my own sake.

I just killed a pair of Kenneth Cole patent leather flats and am scouring the stores looking for something similar.

Okay, thanks gals.  I''m going to keep checking the nord rack to see if the same pair come in in the right size - the ones I found fit in length but were wides. 

I love the Rack for shoes.  Right now, they''re having that extra sale where there is another 35-50% off lowest marked price.

The Rack is one of my absolute favorite places for shoes.  I''ve gotten some killer deals there.  Twice now I''ve picked up Jack Rogers for $50.  Each time they were the style that is about $120-150 in regular Nordstom or online.  I wish it wasn''t so far from where I live now.  I was spoiled when I lived close to one.

Shoes is ok. Jackets and skirts? Not so much.

patent leather has been ''in'' in the past 30 years? ever? ::sigh:: it''s probably overdue lol It will *never* be ''in'' for MY wardrobe.

I was worried I''d see some patent leather pants upon opening this thread. 

A good deal on cute shoes=go for it!

Patent leather shoes and bags are very in. Just last year you could hardly find any leather that wasn''t patent.

I LOVE patent leather! It is shiny and easy to clean......

I was wondering how to clean them and had some people say that you are supposed to clean them with Vaseline. I was thinking windex, but they said that the shine will not last if you use windex.  Patent lovers, how do you clean it?

I use Tana Patent cleaner. (spray)
