What did I get?!
HA! HAHAHA! More like what did my 18 month old daughter get  No, I''m afraid my Christmas days are over. My husband got me a very lovely tourmaline and a LOGR setting I''d been lurking for awhile on ebay. My family basically gave me The Children''s Place and Toys R'' Us wrapped in a box hehe. But honestly the best gift was watching her tear into those presents and say "Ooooooooh TOY!"

My boyfriend doesn't surprise me with presents. He usually goes shopping with me right after any "gift" event and has me pick something out. We went to the stores yesterday (mob scene!) and I picked out some face stuff from Origins as my gift. He then surprised me by stopping by the jewelry store and buying me a nice pair of diamond studs!
 They're my first pair of diamond earrings and he lured me in (well, you don't really need to convince me to go into a jewelry store) by saying he was going to look for something for his mom since her birthstone is diamonds! My parents bought me a washing machine....LOL, just what I always wanted! |

Well, I always combine my birthday/christmas gifts since the dates are one week apart and I get the gifts mixed up:
REI fleece jacket Bath robe Candle holders $150 (combo from two relatives) undies  Butterfly shaped cloth jewlery box (from my dh - he put the undies in there along with a butterfly ornament) snickers bar (b-day gift from kids) |

I got a beautiful star sapphire & diamond ring from my mom--her dad gave it to her and she passed it on to me to use as my "something old" for our wedding in July.
Other fun things: -Julia Child French Chef DVDs -New Umbrella -Red Wellies -Ticket to Ride Board Game -A Pair of Pretty Sterling Earrings -KA Meat Grinder Attachment -A beautiful painting my sister did for me -Espresso Cups and Saucers I was truly blessed this year. |

Casserole dishes I''ve been needing Waterford Flutes other stuff can''t remember right now - but it was a nice Christmas. My kids made out like bandits, as usual, so for me, seeing them happy is what it''s all about. |

Christmas has been shrinking more and more at our house with every passing year. This year I sent out cards but that was it. No decorating and no gift giving. We had a real "reason for the season" Christmas with no sign of commericalism in sight.
Non-commercialism makes Christmas mighty boring! but hopefully next Christmas we''ll be living in a nicer newer house and we''ll get back into it again. Kitcha I want to snuggle with your kitten. What a heartbreaker. He/she looks almost sad in a look at me I''m just a ''ickle wickle kittie wittie''. I want to cuddle that kitten! Please post more pics somewhere. As for me; I was spoiled rotten by DH and got a CB Pochette, Sonatine, MC Pochette, Damier Illovo and the new Stephen King. I can''t wait to read it! |

New fluffy towels 2 pair of jeans alarmclock/digital picture frame. Its pretty cool. I didn''t know they made such a thing lapdesk My Sisters Keeper DVD A very nice organizer book thing Family- Gift cards to B&N and the Kitchen Store Candles Bath and Body Works stuff I also got a gift card to Hollister, but traded with my stepdaughter for her Target card I am quite happy, the only thing that I really needed was the jeans, but I love it all. I think the best gift in the house right now was DSD scrabble game. DH and I play pretty regularly. He thinks he is the winner, but that is because he racks up points with words like hit and gay where I use use turns trading tiles for bigger words. DHs favorite gift I think was one that he got for himself. A wooden cutting board! Who would have thunk it? |

this year, we only exchanged gifts that fit into our stockings + advent calendar. and we said we were going to do a small christmas and take a babymoon instead. well, hub totally surprised me with a spa gift certificate for some prenatal messages and he also got me a cute, small leather coach purse that i can slip into my diaper bag.

Another new parent here, so this Christmas was (and will be for many years to come) all about the tiny one. Our six-month-old was spoiled silly. He received tons of clothes, books and toys.
DH and I got a long, most-expenses-paid trip to visit our families over the holidays, which was awesome. And we each got a few more smaller things, like gift cards and PJs. Oh, and I got enough cash to buy a pair of small, everyday BGD diamond bezel studs. SO excited to order them!

I got way too much stuff, this might take a while to list...
-new laptop, love it! -huge quartz JKT ring. -robe -Louis Vuitton Eugenia Bandeau in Rose Pop, it was kinda an early Xmas present. -clothes -Ugg slippers -Marc by Marc Jacobs jewelry from my sister -Disney ornament, also from my sister (it''s a tradition). -Louis Vuitton book -North Face jacket -DVDs -some makeup -$500 from my dad and another $250 from other family members. -Juicy perfume -scarf and gloves -a few other smaller gifts too. Geez, I think that''s everything! My dad got a lot of great presents too. We bought him a ton of clothes, a Wii, some games, extra controllers, and a netbook. He was very happy with his gifts this Xmas :) |

We had a really lovely Christmas... we don''t see the fam nearly enough, so that is always the best gift of all. But, for the material stuff

I got a bunch of clothes for work, some fashion jewelry, and a bunch of pjs finally-I get asked every year what I want, every year I say pjs, and I never get it!
The best gift though was the look on DD''s face when we opened her first gift. I didn''t expect her to be so expressive. She squealed and threw herself forward to grab the toy. It was fabulously hilarious. |

SNUGGIE!!!!!
I have wanted the leopard print Snuggie ever since I saw it on Oprah live. It''s not nearly as soft as I thought it would be, and it wasn''t as pretty as the one they brought on Oprah, but...I can''t wait to try it out. Nintendo Wii Fit Plus and a bunch of techie self charging things, DVD''s, cover contraption and other accessories that I have no idea how to use...yet. Gift cards. Book-Freakonomics (which I just read cover to cover on Saturday) Crockpot  Lucky Bracelet with peace signs from my boss. Best Present ever....spending it with my Granddaughter.

My mom got me two rings and a necklace, and my parents gave my husband and I an overnight get-away package to the Biltmore House and dinner reservations at a restaurant in the mountains of NC. Everything was completely decked out for the holidays, and it was gorgeous!
My in-laws gave us a check. Kind of random but very much appreciated! My husband and I don''t really exchange gifts, but we''re considering our new living room and dining room furniture our gifts to each other. |
