Lovecalculator says me and my SO only have a 58% chance of working out.


… but then I plugged in the names of Kenny and various friends and they were all lower than 58%.
Maybe I picked the right guy.

Honestly, 58% sounds about right.
Going on 14 years now, we do have some feathers in our crystal lattice structure.

Funny!!

Me & my husband only have a 24% of lasting according to this We have been together for almost 8 years, married for just over 6. And yes, sometimes he bugs the bejesus out of me, but i'd be lost without him...

I know these things are made up rubbish, but it would be nice to hear from those who have been together for a LONG time that come out with a small % on here. Just for reassurance, you know?

Using "Dee" (which is what most people call me) it's 81% and using my real full name it's 85%. Wow--I didn't think there was a person on the planet I had a better than 50% chance of lasting with!

ETA: Just plugged in my last husband... 15%. Hmmm... maybe there's something to this!

86% chance of success when I use our birth names.
What is the formula behind this calculator? I find it really strange because we are named by our parents, we did not name ourselves. We've been married for over 20 years.

Using my name (female) and ANY male name I could think of, including my ex-husband, it gave me 0% to 15% chance. My ex was the lone 0%. haha

So then just for yuks I tried my name and several female names, and my chances immediately jumped to 45% - 85%. Too bad that switch is just not ever gonna happen!

I got 74% with my given name, and 61% with my nickname. Better than 50%, I'm OK with that.

Betcha dollars to donuts it's an algorithm based primarily on the number of letters in the names. I get 68% with my husband, and between 63% and 73% with my exes. Trust me, there was 0% chance with my exes!

Interesting.

When I entered my first name and DH"s nickname (shorter than his first name), the result was 26%.

When I entered my first name and DH's first name, the result was 36%.

When I entered my first and last name and DH's first name, the result was 59%.

When I entered by first and last name and DH's fist and last name, the result was 91%.

I guess people with more letters in their names have great chance of success.

Just kidding on the conclusion.

74%!! Married 28.5 years, 3 kids.... but that's when I entered my last name as my married name. When I redid it and put my maiden name, we dropped to 15% and not a good chance of working out.

Okaaaaaay. Glad I didn't have that tid bit of info, back in June 1985!

I put my name as Person 1 and DH's name as Person 2 and got 39%... then I changed it and put DH's name first and mine second, and got 24%. It's getting worse by the second!
