Hey guys...

I recently got an iPhone 5 and was wondering if there was a way to copy all of my older Instagram photos to it... I have looked online and come across apps like Instaport that are supposed to do this, but no luck!! I still have my photos on my old phone, but no way to get them to my iPhone. I'd like a way to "back up" all of my Instas to my iPhone for future use.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

If your phone was purchased new and recently I think you can call applecare for free.

Here are their phone numbers for several countries...

Sorry I have no clue.

I will say I LOVE apple support.
Over the years I've called probably 20 times.
Real humans you can understand, even if you don't speak Hindi or Tagalog.
Very patient, friendly and professional.
Short wait times.

Some of my conversations have lasted nearly an hour and the reps have the patience of a saint.
They never rushed me and I'm probably a nightmare customer with a zillion questions.

Applecare doesn't help with third party applications, so you'll need to see if there's help from Instagram Support itself.

Thanks, guys... I will probably end up going to the Apple store in town -- hopefully someone will be able to help me. =)

Technically you're right.
They have helped me though.
It depends on the nature of the issue.

Emphasize to them that the apple product is half the problem.
Give it a shot.

To clarify- the old instagram pics- are they on your old phone? Or only online in your account?

The old ones are on my old phone and I guess they would be on my online Instagram account as well. I just wanted to have them in a folder on my phone so that I could send them in emails and repost. I could try to go online and email them to myself and have them that way, but there are quite a few (like 75-100 or so) and I'd really want them all in one place without have to repost the same ones on Insta again.

Hook your old phone up to the computer and grab them that way, then hook up the new phone and transfer them over.

If they're on the old phone, move them to the computer and then selectively move them over to the new phone that way, either by syncing or by copying maybe to dropbox if you have that.
