No worries Danny. I think everyone was a little passionate about either the thread or the fact that it was deleted. I'm just glad to know that is was because of the religious and political ranting and not about the content of the thread celebrating the decision.

It feels kinds strand having such limits of conversation on a forum. Why have other forums besides jewelry if it's so limited? I'm not being smart, I just genuinely want to know. I understand the whole religion and politics thing, but I think if people could respect echo other that would be a non-issue.

They've been taught not to.
Rather, since childhood, they've been taught that it is their job to convert the world to their way.

Otherwise-sane people go cray cray when discussing politics and religion.
If those topics were allowed PS would need a crew of 20 moderators working 24/7.

I'd MUCH rather that full discussion of these topics were allowed and complaints just ignored.
No **** and no spam but everything else is okie dokie!
21.24% of PS would get their panties in such a tight twist that they'd leave.
Good riddance, I say.

I'd rather have everyone 100% honest.

Which is strange.... you'd think people with such nice jewelry would be happy (well, some of them lol) I know I am. Very true about the fake niceness, although I've had a few times where people were pretty darn rude to me on here and it was just ignored. So its clearly not a perfect system. The might loose the 21.24%, but would probably gain it right back with word of mouth to people who love jewelry and open forum discussion.
