Hahahahaha! I'm such a Chicagoan:
When I read your post, I thought you meant you looked taller than The Fridge, as in Refrigerator Perry of the '85 Bears.(I thought "Well, better to be taller than WIDER than The Fridge!")
I'm 5'10", by the way. I always thought I was 5'9.5", but DH measured me a couple weeks ago. Maybe I'm still growing.
I am 5 '6" and Mr L is 6' 5" Our children seem to have inherited his size so the clothing issues have begun already - I took our son to be measured for first shoes yesterday, only to find that they do not go up to his size in cruisers/first walkers.
I am 5'0" and DH is 6'1". I've had my whole life to get used to being short so it doesn't bother me in the least. I have a big mouth the make up for it
