About a year or so ago I had posted that my kitty was diagnosed with feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at 6 months of age.  I was devastated but vowed to give Miyagi a great life full of love and affection.  I did not anticipate winding up with a bond that is so strong I often miss him more than DH when we are seperated (shhhh don''t tell DH although I suspect he already knows - hee hee).  I took Mi for his annual check up the other day which included a yearly echocardiogram.  His results floored me - over the past year his heart muscle has actually gotten stronger with increased chamber volume and no murmmer.  I know that overall Mi may still have a short time with us - but for now it was fantastic to hear he has improved.

Thanks for letting me share.
