Hi guys!

I'm going to visit a friend in November and wanted to get some hostess gifts for her and her daughter. I need help with the daughter's gift. The daughter is 21, very girly and likes pink and sparkles lol. She recently completed her associates and would like to take steps towards becoming an event planner. I thought a cute and appropriate gift would be a nice day planner.

Could you please recommend some nice planners with all the bells and whistles an event planner would need? Bonus if it's efficient AND cute! Doesnt have to be pink... Would like to keep cost around $25-$50.

Day-planners can be a bit personal, and she might be picky about how things are laid-out.

How about a really nice business card holder for networking etc?

I'll go one further - day planners are very personal, and she's very likely all set with a favorite format.

How about a nice pen? You can always use more than one good pen! Swarovski makes some nice sparkly pens:

I agree that day planners are a bit personal.

For an event planner, how about something like an emergency kit of sorts? A cute little bag that has all the odd things that are needed last minute in event planning -- clear nail polish, mini sewing kit, nail clippers, etc (look around BIW for ideas of other things to put in a kit like this)

Thank you - This is great - and it's even more packing friendly for my luggage!

That's awesome! Now I can't get the opening scenes of J Lo's "the wedding planner" out of my head ;-)
