What's your absolute favorite piece of clothing? Mine is my Harley Davidson leather jacket that I got for my birthday. I wear it every chance I get.

The one thing that I cherish more than any other is my charcoal grey, two button suit with a notch lapel. It sits so well, and I think every guy should get one.

Lululemon leggings and sweaters. I have multiple colors of the same thing. Comfort and warmth, my two top criteria for everything.

Absolute favorite? Black crew-neck shaped-fit Tee ... short or long sleeves ... always a staple and always looks/feels great on me.

Just one? I have an addiction to the fiber arts, esp. art clothing, or clothing that is art?

Here are a few of my favorite pieces :)

You get the idea :) Every year I add one or two pieces to my wardrobe with the intention of eventually only having higher quality unique hand made pieces and remove store bought all together. Better quality and more unique too! I've been bartering my dye services in exchange for handwoven yardage so eventually I'll be good enough to sew my own and get my own loom up and running :)

Vintagelover - are you the person who posted once about a very expensive baby wrap? I thought it looked kind of like that rainbow vest thing. Very cool stuff.

Yes. I do have a couple of pieces of 'art yardage' one which I think I will be turning into a ruana. The rainbow one I believe. The 2nd one will become a king sized quilt. The 3rd one is my current favorite to wrap with but the bottom one, well that is naturally dyed raw silk weft and is a sight to behold. I believe it will be a gown someday but perhaps not, perhaps something more every day wear so I can wear it all the time. It wraps lovely too! I'm currently working with 2 weavers (they do baby wraps and other stuff) dying yarn for them in exchange for cloth. I am very excited that one is on the loom in Dec. and I can't wait to see my work woven up into something beautiful. That is just part of the cloth (the width, or the weft). I do have plans for a full custom dyed piece, all done by me and woven by a woman named anna that should happen in the new year. Exciting times in my life, as well as making some jewelery on the side. Mostly beaded stuff and metal stamping :)

I'm punk rock to the core, so my studded leather jacket is vitally important. I consider it very tastefully studded, though. It was a lucky find at a consignment shop in NYC.

Other must have are the cashmere cable knit socks I bought at a now closed Scottish yarn shop. Damn those things are so comfy.

My black Calvin Klein shrug. It goes with everything.

My favorite is a massive 100% cotton white T-shirt.
It's extra long and hangs down to my knees.

It's made for someone who weighs maybe 400 pounds and is over 7 foot.
I'm half that weight so I swim it, but love it for sleeping.

My black heavy metal band T shirts, I am rarely seen out of one and if I am then it is generally a plain black Bonds shirt with tight sleeves to show off the guns (the wife's favorite  )

Vintagelover, wow! Love all your gorgeous handmade pieces.

This is a tough question for me because I have lots of favorites. It's hard choosing just one so here are a few of my favorite things...

First up a pic with 3 of my favorite pieces of clothing/shoes. My blue suede Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots, my old worn in jean jacket and my blue dress.

Second is my black suede Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots.

I also love my bordeaux boots and yup you guessed it...SW again...at least I'm consistent. :big smile:

Lastly is my soft moto jacket.

Love all your boots missy!
I have a pair suede Stuart Weitzman boots, alas I was a silly young girl and didn't get lowlands. They are sexy red suede, with almond toes and knee high no zipper with a 4" heel. I've worn them twice. $500 is a LOT of money to me and I wish I could swap them for jewelery/textile stuff/anything I can use. I'm going to try and get them lowered or have the entire sole replaced if I can't sell or trade them. They are the ones in the middle and you'd think a size 37 would be easy to trade but I guess I don't know many people who can rock these babies. Oh well, one day they will find a new home or I"ll take them to get changed. Boots look good on you missy!

I love those boots. I never used to be a big fan, but my girl friend loves them and I've sort of grown to love them, especially on her.

My husband loves my boots too but now I wear a pair from a cabellas? sp? hunting store that are flat. Such a shame since I have those 3 nice pairs sitting in a tote in the basement. I do take them out every once in a blue moon to wear them but then my mommy hips and back tell me the next day it was a poor decision on my part  I used to be able to dance in 4" spikes all night long without any issues, or maybe I was just too drunk/hung over to recall pain in my feet/back being from my shoes and not anything else :???:

ETA: You've all inspired me. I have a date night tonight with my husband, maybe I'll break out the heels (or boots) or maybe I'll break my neck as it's snowing here in Ontario ::)
