then you paste ctrl v but put the brackets on the outside.

Skippy, did you put together a thread of other emoticon's in the past? I tried to search for other emoticon's and can't find anything....??

I also tried the same advice you are giving DF to w/ the url at each end... I'm just too tech challenged to ever hope to do more than a "click" of the smilies we have!!!

Sure hope Ella is able to add more to the current side bar - old people like me don't cope well with computer stuff!!

Is that the issue??? I have a macbook as well --- oh wow - there still may be hope for us yet! That would be great to get instructions on how to use these new / old emoticons on a mac... !!! Never thought of that iLander!

When you right click on the emotie does it say Properties at the bottom of the list? If it does click that.

Then you will see the Address/URL

Copy that then follow the instructions Ella and Skippy gave

How I do mine in case it helps anyone, I use Ella's technique.

1) Have the emotie page loaded on a separate page. Have your reply box open and ready.

2) Right click with your mouse on the emotie you wish to use, a box should pop up. Scroll to the bottom and click on properties.

3) Click on properties, another box will pop up, go to address URL. Copy the URL by highlighting with your mouse.

4) Go to the reply box, position the cursor where you want the emotie to appear on the page. To the right of the reply box at the top, you will see an Insert with little boxes below. Click on the first, the diamond image, paste the URL then click add URL. Submit the post and the emotie should show.
