I just do. I make a list of what needs to get done, and I do it. I split up hard and easy tasks so I''m not leaving the worst stuff until the last minute, and I just check things off the list as I go. I also try to make sure I get plenty of time with friends before I leave. Big hugs! Getting ready for international moves is NOT an easy thing, no matter how many times you do it. |

I make lists too and for every hard thing I do, I make sure to do an easy task (and vice versa). It's so easy to put stuff off until the very last minute, but I try to make sure to tackle something on my to do list every day. No matter how daunting it seems, once you do one thing, it often helps keep you motivated to keep going. I always feel more productive when I do a few things each day rather than looking at a really long list of things I need to get done all at once.
ETA: Having never done an international move before, I'm not sure what goes into planning and coordinating everything. Can you delegate some things on your list to your kids and your husband? |
