I will be sitting on my couch cheering for my hubby (Tommy) as he leads the Patriots to VICTORY tonight!!!  Do I sense a Four-peat in the making?  I dooo believe! 

Can''t wait for the Packer''s to play on Sunday either! GOOO PACKERS!

I now have a reason to live and Sunday''s are no longer just "laundry day"......

I am so sad....my beloved Chicago Bears are going to be in the cellar of the NFC north this year!   Rex Grossman broke his ankle or some other body part in a preseason game so we''re starting a ROOKIE quarterback!

I don''t know why I still root for them!

My favorite team is the UMR MINERS! They SUCK but hey, they are 2 for 2 this year so far! If they win one more theyll have tied last year's record. Before last year they hadn't won a single game in over 30 games.

I used to root for the St Mary's Dragons but he graduated.

OMG !!  No need to gang up on me you Eagles fans.  Actually, I do like the Eagles but since they are in the same division ... that''s a big fat NO NO

I'm so sorry about Rex Miss Jelly Bean !!!  I saw that.  Poor thing !!!  But he's a fighter.  Hopefully Da' Bears will do great this year !!!

Denise -- that pic you posted was on the front page of every Chicago newspaper the next day after the injury!

My husband kids everyone that my favorite day of the year is the NFL draft.   I can''t believe it''s been almost 20 years since we''ve been to the SuperBowl!

My second favorite team used to be the Patriots but I don''t have any respect for Tom Brady anymore since I found out he dated Tara Reid.  Eeeewww!

Just for the record, Jellybean,  the only reason he went out with Tara was because I was in South Florida  on vacation.  He knows he messed up HORRIBLY and repents daily. 

He totally knows better and it was a moment of desperation... one we don''t speak of anymore.  Tee hee

Woo-hoo! Football season is here! Time to break out my old Tennessee Titans jersey and dust it off for another season of wear. Too bad my favorite players aren't there anymore. Oh well. Also time to dust and clean the screen of my plasma t.v. for all those awesome games. I even have it set up so I can watch two games at once. Isn't that cool?? Yippee!!!

As for college football, I have been and always will be an OSU Beaver fan. My dad's family is from Oregon and my grandparents live like 1 mile from OSU campus. I would've gone there for med school, but I didn't like the idea of living with my grandparents and my mom didn't want me to go so far away, although it would be rent-free.

Here is one from High School, he went to St. Mary's here in St. Louis, go Dragons. He's the one with the ball. He is number 16 there as well as now. I think he likes 16.

And here''s the best one--this is hilarious. My brother is a redshirt freshman, what that means is....he''s on the team from his official freshman year on, technically 5 years, but because of NCAA rules hecannot set foot on the field during a game till his official sophomore year, so accdg to NCAA, he''s a freshman in sports now. This spring they had a scrimmage and he played and made a great catch. He landed on the front of the Rolla newspaper, and pissed a few seniors off who had never been on the cover of any paper, especially not the town''s paper. I took a photo of the article because they make you pay for "archives" and I have it at work on my work computer as a photo.

OH, he''s not a tight end anymore. He''s a wide reciever again. He got his scholarship as a QB, they had too many so they moved him to WR, then to TE then back to WR. We considr him a slot receiver honestly.

WHAT?!! Not another Denver Broncos fan anywhere to be seen?! How bout a Bills fan?! I''m from Buffalo, but for whatever reason, the Denver Broncos are just MY team. I just LOVE them. However.. my fiance will ALWAYS be a bills fan, no matter HOW bad they are, so I have to be at least a little bit of a hometown girl..

I am PPPPIIIIISSSSED that the stupid Patriots won though. They are my absolutley number one least favorite team in football, and Tom Brady is my LEAST favorite player.

Ame - Thats really cool that your brother has a football scholarship. I don''t know what UMR is though. Where is that? I''m not really up on College football. :) My fiance played one year of Division 3 college football. Then he got hurt I feel so bad for him, because I know how bad he misses playing.
