LOL! Neither of your are weirdos I was thisclose to getting the 2.5mm (which would be the "perfect match" I guess for my 3 stone) but my original wedding band was a 3mm plain platinum. DS#1 lost my wedding band (it was in the ring box on my desk for DH to take to get polished. DS took it to "try it on" and it''s disappeared into thin air!) and I saw the 3mm on BN and that sentimental tug got to me (granted, in 18K white gold instead of plat). Stupid, I know.

Not stupid at all! So 3mm it is? |

I just did the same thing...I have a 3 stone ring in white gold that I wore with a 2mm band. I had it reset in platinum (tired of replating it!) trellis setting and the band on the 3 stone is about 2.5-3mm wide. I ordered a 3mm and a 4mm plain comfort fit band from eweddingbands.com to see which I liked best. I went with the 3mm again, because I thought it was a better "match" to my 3 stone ring, and I felt that the 4mm overpowered the 3 stone ring. My vote then is for the 3mm.

Um, I think so. I''m definitely sending the 4mm back to BN. I may order the 2.5mm but honestly, I''ve spent so much time on my rings as it is, and I love how the 3mm looks alone that I''ll probably just keep it
It is a smidge too big for my three stone but I''m not sure the 2.5mm would visually be that huge of a difference from the 3mm. thanks everyone for your opinion! I''ll let you know if I order the 2.5mm band I''ll wear the 3mm over the weekend and see if it''s a good match (alone, with my e-ring, and stacked with my other rings) but I think the insanity of my rings needs to end

Feb2003Bride, just for fun can you show a pic of the plain band that you already have? (Is it 2mm?)
Of the ones you''ve shown here I like the 3mm best! Love your new 3 stone! Do you have problems with the rings sitting flush with your trellis or the w-band rubbing the prongs, or does everyone "get along"? |

You could always order a 2.5mm silver band or something to try it out ... oy, I''m a dog w/a bone. (Any way you could have both -- one to wear with the set, one to wear solo?)
