Faststone image viewer for editing images for forums on windows

Faststone image viewer is the ultimate image viewer I have found and my first to be used program for image management and editing.
Quick edits are a snap with this program and often times it will be the only editor I will use before posting an image.
It is free for non-comercial use and available at www.faststone.org

Here is what it looks like:

After selecting the image you want too crop click on edit then “crop board”

Select the area of the image you want too keep and click crop.
Ignore the other buttons that say crop on them and just use the “crop” button.

Click edit then click resize/resample

Make sure that pixels is selected and replace the largest number with 500.
Click ok
It should looks something like this:

Click file "save as" and input the file name and where you want too save it then click on options:

Move the slider until "New file size" is under 95k then click ok.
It will take you back too the last window, click save

This software really is kicken, the display has a lot of options and the editing features are useful.
It will also do a kewl slideshow.
If you burn the portable version to the cdrom along with the images it will allow you to do a slide show on any computer running windows.
