Where can I find a setting like this: just two round heads, about 5 mms. each, somewhat diagonally across from each other?

I looked for a photo but couldn't find one. I"ve seen it used with antique diamonds most often.

Thanks.

Ah, that's it (but without all the bling). I forgot that they are called that. Thanks much.

That is a bit of an older type setting, correct? (Not that blingy one, though, the plain type.)

I don't know that bypass rings are necessarily an older style because they're a bit like solitaire settings in that there are variations on a theme! Do you remember TL's pear bypass ring? That is less blingy and I think that Lanbo may have made that for her but I think it was a custom piece - but I'm sure she'll pop along to help.

You may have to get somebody to adjust a standard setting for you. Here's a less blingy one made for pears http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Two-Stones-Solid-14kt-White-Gold-Dimond-Semi-mount-ring-/310376696841?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4843e48c09 and the same setting for rounds http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Two-Stone-7-7-5mm-14kt-WG-Diamond-Semi-Mount-Ring-/130647105232?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6b2c9ed0

Daniel M made that pear bypass for me. I think it would be easy to get lanbo to make a custom piece for two rounds though. It's a bit more complicated with pears or other shapes. I did see some round bypass rings in the various Chinese ebay stores like these. He could make these in 5mm size. If you don't want diamonds on the shank, just tell him.

Have your local jeweler order it from the Stuller catalog.

I have that ring, with two stones given to me by my grandparents when they passed; I had it custom done last year. EDIT: I had the setting made in silver. No problems at all with Stuller to date for my personal experience with it. Don't see it mentioned on here often but I do like some of their settings and things. Very simple.

I had mine slightly modified as the gemstones are a few mm off from each other but it is what you describe otherwise if I am reading what you want correctly. I will look for the link with the style number on their site.

Alright this is the one I have, I think if I am tracking your original post this is kinda what you are looking for?
